Through his solo work, as well as adventures with Dave Swarbrick, The Watersons, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Waterson:Carthy, The Imagined Village and The Gift Band, Martin has – for much of his career – been a pioneer in traditional music. Even Bob Dylan and Paul Simon owe some thanks to the influence of Martin Carthy.” |
